This is the second course in the CSense Basics series, and is an immediate follow on from the first course which instructed how to download, install and license a 30 day trial of Proficy CSense along with Proficy Historian, iFIX and Operations Hub, plus the IGS Driver, all of which will run in their own demo modes. The Alarm Patterns Runtime template is the primary focus of this course.

IMPORTANT: Ensure that course 1 in this self directed series has been completed before proceeding.
 

By the end of this course, you will be able to...

• Understand the capabilities of the CSense Runtime Templates for SCADA and Historian.
• Download the Proficy CSense Runtime Templates from the GE Vernova support site.
• Use the 30 day CSense trial license alongside the Proficy iFIX, Historian, Operations Hub and IGS demo modes, to test some of the CSense Runtime templates.
• Utilize Proficy Historian and IFIX HMI SCADA alarms as sources for the Alarm Patterns template.
• View Alarm Patterns from Proficy Historian and HMI SCADA iFIX using the Operations Hub Alarm Patterns App.
