The Getting Smart on Plant Applications - Essentials course is part of the Plant Applications introductory series. The module will introduce the Plant Applications equipment model. It provides an introduction to the essential building blocks of the Plant Applications solution which includes the plant model, model design, variables, calculations, events and event models. In this learning module, plant model design and its components will be explained, plant model levels and variables as data placeholders will be reviewed and the basic event types and event models of Plant Applications will be identified.
